Prototype Build Engineer - Intermediate

Job Description:

• The Prototype Engineer - Body-in-White (BIW) will be responsible for the engineering, development, and timing of a Body-in-White system and/or components for Prototype builds. Other responsibilities will include driving design completion, part ordering, part tracking and delivery, all to meet program timing. This position will also be responsible for issue management and build floor support including communicating technical status to management.

Requirements:

• Engineering experience in Body-Body in White or Closures. Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability. Knowledgeable in regards to high strength steels, weld parameters and GD&T. Proficient in MS-Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
